Gemini and Active Directory
Hello,
we want to use Active Directory and we now that it is possible at the moment and can be done with the IIS. But I think it is an awful solution.
So, does any plan exists to implement a native solution directly in Gemini? If there exists a plan, for which version and time do you plan this?
Kind regards
Rainer

Hi This is almost a dealbreaker for us unless it gets implemented. We've 3 instances and love the product, but I think without AD integration we'll be forced to switch products (our security people are forcing the issue). Hope you can help. |

Also - do you mean Summer 2010 (you have it as 2009 in your response)? |

Hi MarkWing The overhead comes in assigning individual user permissions. With active directory when resources need thier permissions updated (new hire, promotion, let go...) it's alot faster and safer to remove them from one group then to try and track down all thier individual permissions across all sites. |

Yes, we understand and are working on that for 4.0. |
