Upgrading from 1.8 to 2.1 with Active Directory

Hello,

I am upgrading from 1.8 to 2.1 and I am integrating the Active Directory logins for the bugtracker. Is there any way to easily transfer the issues related to a user to a new active directory user? It seems a little insane to upgrade because of this limitation.

Ok, let me put it this way. I have version 1.8, with 50+ users and around 10 users that have issues assigned to them. I upgraded to the newest version to use Active Directory integration. When I create the active directory user on gemini, I need a way to transfer all the issues created and assigned to that user to their new user that was just created. Is there any easy way to do this?

You can duplicate the current users and leave the user name as is and update the "old" user name to the windows one.

Say you have user ID 19 with user name of Webster

Clone that user in SQL:

ID ... user name Webster

No update ID 19 to something like DOMAIN\User

This way the old user IDs will stay the same with the new windows user.
