Excel and Print Friendly do not work.
Hello....I cannot produce any output using the Excel or Print Friendly links. When I do attempt this, I first get the page "Gemini Application Error" with a link to the error log.
Unable to cast object of type 'System.Int32' to type 'System.String'. at Gemini.SessionBag.GetIssuesFilter() at Gemini.IssuesExcel.BindData() 18/10/2006 14:26:10 Thread was being aborted. at System.Threading.Thread.AbortInternal() at System.Threading.Thread.Abort(Object stateInfo) at System.Web.HttpResponse.End() at System.Web.HttpResponse.Redirect(String url, Boolean endResponse) at Gemini.IssuesExcel.BindData() at Gemini.IssuesExcel.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e)
Thanks for any help

Does this error occur all the time? Can you test it on our site: http://gemini.countersoft.com? |

The error does not occur on your site. So...does this mean I need to uninstall/reinstall Gemini on our server? We have been experiencing some other weird issues for a while too....hmmm. thanks - will |

What kind of weird issues? Are there any other errors in the log? What authentication mode are you using? |

Other weird issues: 1. After I login and first go to the "home" page for a project, the page displays and all of the icons for bugs, new features, etc. display correctly. If I then go to the Issues page, none of the icons display at all, just the placeholder image with the red "x". 2. After going from page to page a few times, the whole site changes to no graphics at all...just blue text (the links, I suppose) for everything. We are using forms/sql authentication. Tried to use Windows Auth, but I could never get it work for us. thanks - will |

Seems like a resource problem on your web server. What is the spec of it and which version of IIS are you running? |

That seems odd....as I have a couple of other web sites on that server (it is an internal server) that never experience any problems. It is Windows Server 2003, IIS 6....2GB RAM. |

Is Gemini running under in its own application pool? |

No..it is running in the Default app pool. Are you suggesting that I put it in its own app pool? |

Yes and try to set it to recycle once a day. |

Okay, I'll give that a try. I went ahead earlier and put Gemini in its own app pool...but that didn't seem fix either problem. |

I have similar problems. I created a dedicated application pool for gemini. Assigned 1 worker proces max to it and I think that last modification did the job because it seems to run fine now. |
