Express work estimate in hours

Since we track task durations in hours with MS Project, we'd like to be able to express the work estimate in the issue details as hours also.  Currently, anything greater than 23 hours is forced to be entered in as Days.  Would like to be able to ignore the Days field and just enter the total hours for tasks greater than 24 hours.  Any way to get around this?

I would like to bring this in as a feature request, possibly through an additonal entry field 'Total Hours', which would always be showing the total amount of hours. This is, I think, the common way of estimating the amount of work in a manager's mind.
