Issue description [update] permission

If you are not the issue owner, you need the "project administration" user role in order to be able to update the issue description. It is not documented in GEMINI and seems not very consistent.

Rights to update an issue description should be a specific user role or link with the "edit issue" user role.

This looks like a BUG. Will be fixed for 2.1 release.

As of 2.2 release, you can edit the issue description if:

  1. You are issue reporter (i.e. you created the issue).
  2. You are in Project Administrator role.
  3. You are in Issue Administrator role.
