Do they appear when editing?

not really, no user appears in either editing or creation mode.

I tried a user of every role (viewer, project admin, issue admin,...) and none of them appear in the Assigned To dropdown.

I was thinking; perhaps it is one of my general settings that causes this problem, but if I'm not mistaking I only disabled "Allow Anonymous Users".

General settings will not affect this.

If the users are assigned as resources for the project via the project resources page then they should show up. Can you please confirm?

Yep, the users are assigned to the project as a resource.

I started Sql Server Profiler to see if I could find something, but the different queries that I saw passing over the wire didn't made so much sence. Is there any other way I can trace to provide more contextual information?

I checked the System log of Gemini in the Administration and when I go into edit mode of an issue I get the following error in the log:

This is an invalid webresource request. 06/07/2007 10:33:17 SOURCE: System.Web TARGETSITE: Void System.Web.IHttpHandler.ProcessRequest(System.Web.HttpContext) STACKTRACE: at System.Web.Handlers.AssemblyResourceLoader.System.Web.IHttpHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) at System.Web.HttpApplication.CallHandlerExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously)

I re-installed Gemini and the problem dissapeared. I guess my previous installation was less successful and I think I know why.

The first installation was done with a DB created with a Case Sensitive. I remember that the SQL DB Scripts didn't ran successful on that DB. So I changed the collating of the DB to a Case Insensitive one and re-ran the scripts (after I corrected the scripts here and there). From then on I had the problem stated in this thread.

So, perhaps a good case study for you guys to test Gemini on a Case Sensitive environment.

grtz,

PMFJI, but I'm pretty certain the Gemini documentation says that it requires a case-insensitive database.
