License problem after upgrade 2.0.5 -> 2.2.6

After upgrading from v2.0.5 to v2.2.6, at the top of the home page, the app says "Unregistered product - please obtain license".  I located the email I received when I originally registered the product, which says:

Please edit the WEB.CONFIG file found in the Gemini web application directory and update the 'RegistrationCode' setting with above registration key code.

After upgrading to 2.2.6, the RegistrationCode element does not exist.  Is registration handled differently in 2.2.6?

Since 2.1 the license details are within the web app. You can get to it via the Administration -> Licensing page.

Note that to use the latest version ,2.2.6, you need to have a valid license. License for 2.0.5 will not work. Please login to the client portal (http://client.countersoft.com) to get / renew your  license.

OK.  I'm trying to log in to the client portal, but there doesn't seem to be any way to register, and I don't have a password that I'm aware of.
