HTML shown in Excel extract when viewing long description field

When running a report in Excel, HTML is shown in the Description field - example below - is there a way to correct this?

I am experiencing the same issue with a template that I created for use in the description field.  If there is a way to correct this it would make reporting much easier.

Which page exactly are you referring to? Is it the excel view of the issues page?
