Is there a way to tweak the history reporting; ie update it so it adds a history note when a comment is added to an issue, or a certain selection has been chosen?

Not sure I understand what you would like to achieve. Do you want to be able to enter the note when creating a comment?

When a user adds a comment to an issue, then I look in "View issue history", it currently does not display the user added the comment.

Which version of Gemini are you using?

The issue history does show the user name.

I was using Gemini 1.9.1

I can see it is fixed in 2.0.3
