Migration to a new server

Dear Support
currently we are using Gemini 2.0.2 with SQL2K on an old machine CPU: P3 700Mhz OS: Win2Ksrv
our target is to migrate to a new server, CPU: XEON 3GHz; OS: Win2k3srv STD.
On the new server I intend to install SQL2005.
I would to like to receive some help about that.

Hi Support,

I am waiting on a reply to this question myself.  I attempted to simply move the database (by backing up and restoring) to new physical server (along with the website) and was met with the inability to log on to the application.

We always recommend to backup the database and web app then restoring on the target server(s). Make sure to change the connection string and other values in the web.config file.

If you have any issues, please look at the error log. Are there any errors?
