What about a new feature. The possibility to have a general workflow (like today is available), and the possibility to have a custom workflow for a project?

Or maybe more interesting the ability to have different workflows based on the issuetype or issuetypes.

These features might be difficult to implement for changing the project or issuetype for an issue. But I think these features would be nice.
