Issue comments on closed issues

Hi guys,

We recently upgraded to Gemini v3.6.5 Build 2638.

The behaviour regarding closed issues seems to have changed, as people can still comment on issues when they are closed.  Is there a way to disable this as we'd like to regard a closed issue as done and dealt with preventing people from changing it post-closing it.

This is by design.

Consider the scenario when an existing issue needs to be reopened (for whatever reason).  By allowing comments against a CLOSED issue users can "resume" the discussion on the issue.  The alternative would have been to prevent comments after an issue is CLOSED but instead force users to create a new issue. 

Make sense?

Thanks, that does make sense.

The problem was that we didn't have the Reopened status after an issue is closed, luckily I managed to figure out the problem - in the workflow for the Reopened item it wasn't assigned to Everybody (Authenticated).  After assigning it to that group all is well.
