"No Access" security

web-app

I am trying to set up my Gemini installation so that some users that log in cannot see certain projects.  I have set "No Access" as the default security setting for the projects and the users can still see them.  I then went to "User Security" and assigned the users the "No Access" role as well.  The users can STILL see the projects.  What is the deal here?

Ultimately, I would like all of the projects to be "hidden" or set to "no access" by default so that I can then individually assign users to specific projects and they only see those projects that they have been assigned to.  We use a lot of outside vendors so it is important to me that these outside vendors are not able to see ever single project our company is working on.

Thanks for the help!

Spence

Hi Spence,

Please set the ViewAllProjects setting to "NO" in the web.config file.
