Issue Lifecycle/Management

@Saar Cohen

In the following post I read that you keep the issue resolution: "Unresolved", even when it is already fixed but not already in the BETA stage.

This is interesting, how you manage your issues.

Normally a developer who fixed an issue, sets this to Fixed with status: Need Verification.

How do you handle this? When and who changes the status to Fixed and Verified?

We have our internal Gemini were we do all the issue management. When we prepare for release we sync the web one.

I tried to add a resolution of type: Ready for QA.

I want the developers to set that resolution when they have released the beta for testing.

However, the "Ready for QA" item does not show in the Resolution dropdown.

How do I make it do that?

Thanks.

You need to add the new type to Pre and Post States of the other Issues.

Just have a look at the Admin Section: Issue Status Maintenance.
