blanks are replaced by + signs when loaded from repository

When uploading documents to the repository which include blanks in the filename, and someone wants to download it from the repository the blanks are replaced by plus sign.

Is there a way to change this, cause this way we can't use the repository [:(]

When opening/downloading files in repository, filenames are converted to:

Company+Manual+-+Connector+for+Somethingl+V[1].1.0.0.+E.doc
