Single Sign-on and Integrated Windows Authentication

web-app

Hi all,

not sure if this is a Gemini related issue per-se, but...

We are runnning v2.0.2 (Windows 2003/IIS 6.0) with windows authentication and it works ok. However in the Directory Security tab for the application in IIS, I have 'Integrated Windows Authentication' checked - nothing else. Now my understanding of this is that I should only get prompted for a login if I am not already authenticated on the domain. We have written web apps for clients and this is the authentication method that we use in those applications - they don't have to login to the app once they have logged in to their PC.

Is there something within Gemini that forces this logon dialog to appear when I first connect to the app - or should it actaully work in the way I have described??

The server is internal facing and located in our primary domain.

Thanks in advance.

Jason

Yes, it should work as you described. The network login box is controlled via iis.
