How do you Rename/Delete a folder once created within the "Documents" section?

You can do this by clicking on the parent folder and clicking on the folder name (right hand pane)

At the moment you can't rename the top level folder

Unless I am missing something, when I click on the folder, I see a "Upload File" button and a "New Folder" button, that's it.  There is no option to delete.

I added a folder to an empty Documents section to test it, but it wasn't the name I wanted.  Do you mean to say I am stuck with that folder now?

Is there a way to delete it directly from the SQL tables?

Yes, you can delete it from the gemini_projectdocuments table.
