Cannot restrict users from projects and still have an all project view for other users

web-app

I have setup multiple projects in the same Gemini instance and need to be able to restrict certain users to only view issues in one of the projects while still allowing other users to view all issues from the 'All Projects' issues list. For example, I need to setup the following:

  • userA to see issues in projectA but not projectB.
  • userB to see issues in projectB but not in projectA.
  • userC to be able to see all issues from both projects in one report (really its across 5 different projects, but I am simplifying the example).

Seems pretty straight forward  ;-)

Initially, I setup a security scheme called 'No Access' with no options enabled. In projectA, I assigned userB the 'No Access' scheme. While userB cannot edit any issues in the projectA, userB can still view all issues and their attachmnents.

I attempted to use the 'private issue' flag, but issues marked as private are not shown in the 'All Projects' issues list.

Thx.

Please set the ViewAllProjects setting to "NO" in the web.config file.

I have recently come access the same issue and would like to know if this is possible?  It seems like it should be but how does one go about setting access to one project for a specific user while limiting their viewing and access to others.

thanks, -Jason

Ooops.. I missed the response somehow.  Ignore this one.
