Editing the name of existing taps

Under the project setting, there is an existing three taps *Area, Versions and Defaults* taps... Are the name of the taps editable, if not is there is a way to add a new one? Thanks

Yes, you can rename any label in Gemini by changing the releavnt resource.xml file for the template in question (app_data\templates\your template)
