can i set the actual date as default value?

Hi,

I create a custom-field "Date of Receipt". Now i want to set the actual date as default value. Is there any chance to do this?

Sorry. what do you mean by "actual date"? When you create a custom field of date type you will see a popup calendar to enter the date (create/edit item).

the actual date should be set automatically when the item is create
