Possible to migrate configuration or data

install

I'm testing the upgrade from Gemini 3.7 to 5.1.5. Because we're giving acces to other users and changing the projects and permissions alot, I would like to copy the configuration to production environment. Another way could be to copy the data from the 3.7 database to the new environment.

What are possible solutions so I don't have to reconfigure the production environment, because this is alot of work.

We are working on a "data mover" app that will migrate data only from one system (4.2) to Gemini 5. So you can confifgure Gemini 5 and move the live data to it. This will be ready by the end of the month.

Will this tool have an option to clear the database of data before copying from the other environment?

You can download it from http://www.geminiplatform.com/downloads/v5/Countersoft.Gemini.DataMover.zip Unzip it, run the exe and enter your Gemini 4.2.1 database connection, Gemini 5 database connection and run.
