Active Directory Not Syncing

install

We recently bought a 50 user license for Gemini and Sentry.

I am not getting an error in my event logs when I turn on the Gemini Stream service through the windows service manager, so I believe the service is able to connect to our Active Directory Server but users are not showing up in Gemini under the users page.

Pertinent Information

  • I started the service several times

  • The AD User name is different than the user we are running the service and web application under.

  • Sync with Active Directory is checked

  • Add New Users to Gemini found in Active Directory Checked

  • AD Connection String = "dc=corp,dc=Mercent,dc=com"

  • Event Log Message "Configured Service Manager for client http://wolverine/gemini." appears.

  • Event Log Message "Tested connectivity for client http://wolverine/gemini." appears.

  • Event Log Message "Retrieved application settings for client http://wolverine/gemini." appears.

  • Event Log Message "Configured client http://wolverine/gemini." appears

  • Event Log Message "Started process thread for client http://wolverine/gemini Stream Service Processor." apppears

  • Gemini Web Application Version 5.1.2

  • Gemini Stream Service Version 5.1.2

  • Windows 7 Enterprise

  • IIS 7.5

  • Windows Integrated Authentication being used for Gemini Web Application

  • Windows Integrated authentication is working for the Gemini Web Application

Did you check if AD groups have been added by editing a group in Gemini?

Please tick "Enable diagnostic output" under Customize -> System -> Email and restart the service. Do you see any messages from the scheduler regarding AD?

Yes I edited one of the groups and no I did not see any AD groups in the list of users to choose from.

This is the information event I am getting after I turned on diagnostic mode.

"http://wolverine/gemini" Found 307 Active Directory groups"

You need to look at the AD groups field when editing the Gemini group (edit not members).
