Gemini 5: AppNav Card Alerts - no emails are sent

Info: - Email is sent to the creator of an issue when the issue is created - Email is sent to the creator when changes are done to an issue - We have an Alert Template for the type "AppNav Card Alerts"

Problem: No emails are sent to users who have created subscriptions on their AppNav Cards.

Any idea what the problem can be?

Which version of Gemini 5 are you running? Have you installed the Stream service? If so are there any errors in the event log (windows application log)?

We are running v5.1.2.3579.

We have not installed anything else besides the normal installation package. Do we need an additional Stream service? What is that, and where do we find it?

ANSWER

Please download it from: http://www.geminiplatform.com/downloads/v5/CountersoftGeminiStreamv51_2.exe and install it. Once installed go to Customize -> System -> Alerts and make sure you select "Batched notifications" instead of "instant notifications"

It seems to work fine. Notification emails are sent.
