Migrate Projects from Gemini 3.5 to 3.6

migration

We are trying to migrate projects created in v3.5.1 (evaluation) to the latest version 3.6.

We've exported the project (creates a zip file containing txt file and xml file) but on import into the new version it says it can't find the json file?

How can you migrate projects from a 3.5 gemini install to a 3.6 gemini install?

May I ask why not upgrade the database to 3.6? Or do you have 2 installation that you'd like to merge?

There are two installations that we need to merge.

I guess one option could be to upgrade from 3.5 to 3.6 then export the projects?

Thanks for the swift response!

We've upgraded to 3.6 and using the import facility to migrate projects. We get the project showing up in the 'Available projects' list but when we import no issues are copied across. We've checked the Issues Schemes and they match.

We also tried the Project restore but we get an 'Object Reference not found' error!

Can you please run DebugView (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896647.aspx) and send us the output from the import app?
