How to remove requirement for components

projects

When adding new projects we would like to have it default to an "unknown" component or not require one at all. How do I set this up? Thanks. We are running Gemini 5.

Change the template that the project using to hide the component field (Custmoize -> Processes)

That works great on a one by one project basis but since we are only two people and never want to track this, is there a way to remove it forever? Or change a master template somewhere?

That works on a project template basis, so if all your project use the same template you are done.

So I guess I need to figure out how to set up a masster template huh? Who knew! I usually just add a project and them grumble because I have those blasted components. I will see if I can figure it out. Thanks for your help.
