Custom field project visibility in Gemini 5

custom-fields

Prior to Gemini 5, I could set Custom Fields to show only in specific projects by going to Administration > Projects> Custom Fields and selecting the applicable project from the list in the Custom Field view. I can't find how to do this in Gemini 5. I can create and view a Custom Field, but it shows in all of my projects, not the specific applicable one(s).

Is this functionality included in the upcoming update (per Migration Guide) of: Project Attributes:will be replaced with the ability to attach Custom Fields to Projects? If so, when is that update expected? I couldn't find any reference to it in the Gemini Roadmap.

Is there a way around this in the meantime? The only thing I can think of is to create unique permission 'screens' for each project. Which is not what I want to do because all of our projects currently use the same permission set, it's just a handful of Custom Fields that change between projects.

You should make it visible only to the project group and not everyone. In Gemini 5 we introduced templates so projects with similar characteristics use the same template. I suspect that you are using the same template for all your projects.
