Upgraded from 4.2 to 5 but can't open any projects

install
projects

I just upgraded from version 4.2 to version 5 and now I can't open any projects. I can click the "All" button and see issues from all projects but if I try to click into any project it just goes back to the home screen. I can upload a copy of the database if needs but its 177 MB zipped.

Are your permissions (Customize --> People --> Permissions) and you Screens set correctly( Customize --> Templates --> Screens)?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Wouldn't the permissions already be set since I'm upgrading from a prior version? In any case, there is nothing listed under Customize --> People --> Permissions and what should be set on the Customize --> Templates --> Screens ? It seems all of my prior projects are using the "Migration" template. Is there something I need to change there?

No, you have to set permissions again. Please read the migration guide below.

Permissions are not the problem here, I can click on the "All" button on the home screen and open up any item, but when I click one of the project names from the home screen it just stays on the home screen, the project never opens. I verified permissions and screen settings, both appear to be correct

Nnevermind... I didn't realize I can't click into a migration project directly. Once I migrated to a new template its working fine
