Sprint Progress Tracking
Hi
We use v4.2.1 (build 3250) - is there a new version? how can we upgrade?
If we log more hours than the number of hours defined in the estimated effort of a certain item, the item is being treated as "completed" in the burndown chart. However, the reason more time was logged against this task is because it actually took more time to complete than originally estimated. What should we do? if we update the estimated effort, it shows on the burndown chart, that more hours were added at the beginning of the sprint. The way we expected to see it was in a split bar at that particular day showing in red the number of hours added on top of a green area showing the number of hours remaining.
Second question, how can we generate a report that shows the aggregated progress of all tasks. For example: We have 2 tasks, each takes 16 hours to complete. 2X16=32. On day one, we logged 4 hours for task 1 and 8 hours for task 2. In total, the sprint progress bar should show 12/32=0.375% progress.
Comment: the issue we're having with Gemini is that there is no correlation between the hours logged for each task and the Percent Complete. If all goes well, once I logged 8 hours for a 16 hours task, the Percent Complete should be updated automatically to 50% unless I changed it manually. If I update the progress bar to 25%, the total/estimated effort should change to 32 hours. In the report, I want to see that I've added more hours to that task or to the whole sprint in a specific date.
