Why I can't link items to test cases?

It's possible to link test cases to items, but it's not possible to link a test case to the item.

Why there is "add" link under the "testing"-tab inside the item edit view?

You link items to test cases for a test case screen. When you view an item you can see the associated test cases under the testing tab. Is this not what you wanted?

Sorry my question was wrong. "Why there is no "add" link under the "testing"-tab inside the item edit view?"

When I fix a bug, I want to add the link to the test case inside the bug-item. It is to wasteful to note the item number, change to testing, looking for the right test case, click on "Items"-tab and link the bug to the test case. These are to many steps I think.

It would be easier to click on a link "Find test case" under the testing tab like the "Find Item" under "Hierarchy"-tab
