too much notifications using mailplugin

Global --> Notifications

Email Item Creator --> Yes Email Item Resource --> Yes Email Alerts Enabled --> Yes

Email Alert Engine --> Mailplugin

Configured Email Alerts Enabled CREATED alerts Enabled ASSIGNED alerts Enabled CLOSED alerts Enabled item WATCHER alerts

Is it normal with these settings that I receive notifications about updated, commented, resolution and status updates on issues in a project when no extra alerts are configured for my account?

Hi,

If you have enabled item watcher you will automatically receive all notifications to that item.

Is there any particular reason you are using the mailplugin? You can have batched email alerts when you use the Scheduler service. To download our Scheduler please go to: http://www.geminiplatform.com/download and download the Scheduler.
