Upgrading database to SQL Server 2008R2

Currently running Gemini 4.2.1. Database server is SQL Server 2005 SP3. I want to move the database to a new SQL Server 2008R2. Can I just backup and restore to the new server, change the compatibility mode to 100 and re-point the application to the new database server in the webconfig file? Is there anything else I would have to do?
