multiple email notifications after upgrading from 3.6 to 3.7

usage
emails

We recently upgraded to version 3.7.2. When I close a ticket, adding in a comment, changing the status to “Closed”, the resolution to “Completed” and clicking the “closing comment checkbox”, I get 6 email notifications; An “Updated”, “Resolved”, “Commented”, “Status Change”, “Resolution” and “Closed”. I have the Notifications set to only send on issue CREATED, UPDATED and WATCHERS, which is far less than what was set in 3.6. 6 emails is way too excessive and did not happen when we were on version 3.6. Is this a bug or is there something we can do to reduce this back down to 1 combined notice for multiple changes within a single ticket.

Did you upgrade the scheduler service? Can it be that you have 2 schedulers running?

This was a clean install on a new server so it was not an inplace upgrade. The database was restore from a backup of the existing DB to a new SQL server. These are not dupicate emails but all different emails with different subject lines and information within the body of the email.
