How can you find answers?

How does one go about finding answers to questions previously in your "knowledgebase"? I find it virtually impossible to get to a manageable list of hits that don't contain a lot of hits that aren't at all germane.

Use the search tags to reduce the result and keywords to decribe the issue. Such as project and permission to look for questions that contain both project and permission.

I tried that with links and items -- I want to get more information about how to link items, particularly what the Link Item Copy types mean -- and got a lot of hits that included hyperlink and item. After a few pages I gave up.

Linking items allow you to specify an unenforced relationship between items such as duplicate / related etc...

So when you view an item you can see all related items for example.
