My instance of Gemini has stopped sending email. I get a message that ".......host has failed to respond 67.210.126.45:25" What is this and is it still active....and do you have a solution. I guess this is my email server. What are the most coon things to look for here?

Please help ~ Ken

Check that your SMTP server settings are correct. Does the IP exist?

Thanks for the reply.

I did some further testing and found that this is in fact the SMTP server that we have set in the config file. I was also told by one of my engineers that we are receiving this response " The response from the remote server is '550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 4.1.1.1)"

I'm not sure any of this is adjustable in the web config file. I did call the provider and asked if they made any changes recently in the only thing they were able to tell me was that I should try port 587 instead of port 25 but I don't see that I have any way to change this.

Suggestions?

Thanks ~ Ken

Yes, the SMTP settings are correct and haven't been touched for a long time.

The settings are in the config file. Change them

Mark,

Yes, I do know where these settings are and they are correct. I verified them. Is there any way to change the port from 25 to 587 OR see a string of the outbound request. If I could tell exactly what was being sent (headers), I could work with my provider to determine what is wrong.

Thanks ~ Ken

Not possible with 2.1.
