Issue with Exporting and Printing

We have recently upgraded from Gemini 4.0 to 4.2, but users are still having issues with printing anything on the reports page or exporting to PDF. Also the e-mail alerts functionality is not working.

What are the issues with PDF / pring?

As for email alerts, are they enabled (Administration -> Notifications)? Is the scheduler service up and running with no errors in the windows application log (event viewer)?

Printing has the same effect as exporting to PDF that the images are just replaced by boxes with a red cross in them.

The icons for some types of items have also disappeared. Its not just one type of icon that’s disappeared. The ‘Status’ column now seems to believe it should be an image, when in fact the contents of that column are just text

I think this is a premissions issue. Did you unblock the zip file before the upgrade?

Right click on the zip and select properties followed by unblock.

Nothing has changed between the version in regards to print / pdf. Are you running windows authentication?

It seems like you have no anonymous access to the images folder. Please make sure that you allow anonymous access to that folder.

I suggest you re-do the upgrade and make sure you unblock the Gemini zip before.
