Is there any way of importing items/tasks/issues into Gemini other than using Patterns and API?

I am attempting to add a batch of tasks from a Microsoft Project plan (MS Project 2003 in this case). I was hoping there is an easier way than creating each item manually.

I have looked at Patterns but they were even more cumbersome than creating each item individually by hand.

I also noticed there is an API but I have no intention of writing a whole program for this, at least not at this stage.

Any suggestions?

You can use the import application: http://www.geminiplatform.com/downloads/v42/CounterSoftGeminiDataImportv42_1.exe that allows you to import from CSV / Excel.

We do have MS Project add-on but it will support 2007+.

I have been trying to add projects and items to Gemini using the import tool (Excel Fixed Format). The problem is the import keep failing due to bad data.

The log file states "Ensure your source data conforms to the guidelines specified in the Gemini Data Import User Guide". I cannot find this user guide on my computer nor on the website.

Can you point me in the right direction for the guide?

I have gone through the Migration Guide but there is no indication as to the use of data importer tool or the definition of the data expected by the importer. Is there a Data Import User Guide by any chance?
