What is the role of Full Gemini URL?
I'd like to ask what is the role of the Full Gemini URL (Administration - Global - General)?
The original URL was https://gemini/. I change it to https://gemini.xxx.xx/gemini/, but every link remained the original, for example http://gemini/Main.aspx, etc.
The main problem is the following: 1. If we use you the Gemini inside the Intranet or through VPN, everything is ok, the https://gemini/ or https://gemini.xxx.localhost URL is working fine. 2. At some partner we can't use VPN, so we'd like to use the https://gemini.xxx.xx/gemini/ URL, but there are some problem, for example the JS and CSS file link are broken, because this URLs contains the https://gemini/ URL.
We'd like to try change the original Full Gemini URL to solve the problem, but nothing happens.
Thx

Which version of Gemini are you running? The full Gemini url is mainly used for the email alerts link. to Gemini. The app links should be derrived from the url used to navigate to the app unless enforce gemini url is set to yes. |

The version is: v4.2.1 (build 3250). Where can I find the "enforce Gemini URL" option? |

Can you check the contents of the gemini_applicationsettings table to see if enforce is set to yes? |

We change the enforce settings to yes, but if we use the https://gemini.xxx.xx/gemini/ URL, the JS parts aren't works. It'll be a local server setting problem or Gemini problem? |

Mark, thanks the help, it's not a Gemini problem. We tested your instructions today afternnon. We've got a problem with redirecting between Apache and IIS. ··· No problem, thanks for the update.Mark WingWednesday, February 15, 2012, 4:00:12 PM
