Permissions problem with V3

    Upgraded to V3 RC1 today and ran into a few issues, mostly security related but also one attachment related.

1/ Only Gemini Administrators can use 'All Projects Issue Reporting' link on main page. Unless you are a member, you will get Insufficient Rights.

2/ When the users were imported over from 2.26, there were many No Access listed in the users permissions box that had to be removed manually - our Gemini has about 10 projects in it.

3/ Security is very confusing, is there a sample guide showing how to use it effectively?

4/ Only two of the 12 or so attachments actually ported across - i've had to install the previous version so I can get the attachments and then insert manually into the new version.

Any ideas on these?

Thank you for poiting these issues out.

Did you see the migration guide that is included in the zip download? It explains how to migrate to the new security model.

As for the attachments, were those comment attachments?

Saw the migration guide but still confusing - the biggest issue for me is that i've had to make all my team Gemini Admins to use that view issues link, it's something that is really useful but obviously I don't want a department of admins lol

Yes, the attachments were comment attachments - some did make their way through but i'm not sure if they were comment or other attachments to be honest.

Aye - the link at the top right hand corner of the page - it says All projects issue reporting. Also i've noticed that you cannot filter by resource if you use this view, this causes problems and i'm sure was there previously.
