Can't get the Burndown chart to populate

I'm not getting the Burndown chart to populate. I'm playing around in our test site to get things set up to show our team as we move to Agile/SCRUM and it looks like you have what we need for the Burndown chart but I can't seem to get it to load.

I have versions set up with start and due dates and with milestones for each sprint we are planning. Each sprint/version is a child under a main sprint cycle.

I have items assigned to each sprint and some are in progress and some are not yet started.

But everytime I go to the Burndown chart and load the main sprint/version I see nothing - no matter what time frame I select. I see nothing when I load a child sprint/version.

What am I missing?

Oh, I figured it out. But this is confusing. I have to choose a value for "Fixed in Version" but the title of that field is misleading. "Fixed" is past tense and we have been only selecting a value when the item is closed/verified. So that Affected Version indicates when we plan on making the change and Fixed in Version indicates when it actually happened.

So, it seems we have to change what we're doing as a process so that we always choose a "Fixed in Version" field when we add the item. Hmmm....

ANSWER

Affected version is the version the bug was found in. Fixed in version is in which version it will be fixed (as you've found out). Note that you can change any label in Gemini to use your taxonomy by changing the resource files under the languages folder of the Gemini site.

Got it - thanks so much Saar!! Very pleased to see that with little effort, we can go from Waterfall to Agile/Scrum for running our projects in Gemini!
