Hi, i am using gemini 3.1.0. Is there the possibility to grant users the right, that they can only close their own created tasks? Is it possible to create an own scheme role? The users should not close tasks assigned to them.

Yes, give them the edit own issue permission instead of edit issue and make sure that they can update the issue progress and close issues.

Thank you for your quick reply. In our project we have 2 different project groups: Project Issue Creator: Create Issues and assign them to developers and close issues Developer: Can create issues for their own and should have the right to close them. They should edit issues assigned to them till the status "Check in". Issues that were not created by themself (the issues created by project issue creator and assigned to them) should only be closed by the project issue creator.

Here the workflow:

unassigned - assigned - in Progress - check in - closed

Developer:

  • own issues: from unassigned to closed
  • assigned issues to them from project issue creator: from unassigned to check in.

Project issue creator:

  • from unassigned to closed

I hope, i have explained it in easy way? ;)
