Problems Dragging items around in the Planner

We've just been trying out the new drag-n-drop features in the Planner and are having some trouble items between project "Fixed In Versions"

We can move items around within a project, but it we try to move an item from a "Fixed In Version" column in Project A to a "Fixed In Version" in Project B, the graphic moves, but then a few seconds "snaps" back to where it was before.

Any advice welcomed :-)

That is because the item belong to project A, currently it is not possible to move items between projects using the planner.

Hi Mark,

Ah that might explain it then :-)

Just to check though is that definitely the case even in 4.1.1? - from the email announcing 4.1.1 "The headline item in this release is the enhanced Visual Planning board that now supports multiple projects. Select your projects and then simply drag-drop items between Projects, Resources, Versions and Components. "

Gotcha! Well, it was a long shot- i had to admit I wondered how it would cope with the inevitable Component conflicts etc!
