Can not move issue

I have a problem with moving issues. It's not working and I don't get hints about whats wrong. No message. No entry in the System log.

I DID set default values for ALL fields in the target project.

The target project may be very different from the source project (issue types, workflow, severity codes etc.) but my role (Admin) is present in both projects and has the permission to move items in both projects, too.

(a) Any place where more information on the error is being logged? (b) Any further ideas which configuration may be missing?

Addendum: ]Copy[ doesn't work, either.

Usually it is due to missing values (eg. component). Is the component field shown? Also, check Gemini system log.

Component is not shown. But a default value is set in the target project. System log is quiet.

The default will not apply when moving / copying, that is the issue.

Oh. I need to change the "edit item" screen, I suppose, for the "receiving" item types. Yep. That works.
