I'm trying to 'sell' gemini to our PM who uses MS Project. I've had a play with the add-on however i was wondering is there a video or some documentation on how to set it up and use so i can provide a more realistic demo?

The add-on's docs are in writing at the moment and should be ready by the end of the month. However, it is quite easy to use:

  • Install the add-on on a box with MS Project
  • In Gemini create a filter to bring back the items you'd like to manage and save it
  • Open project, click the Gemini "Connect" button and select the filter from the drop down.
  • All items should show up in project and you can sync back to Gemini

The filter was what i was looking for and should be enough to demonstrate updating gemini via ms project and vice-versa. However i'll bear in mind the possibility of you demo'ing to our PM.

I understand why you put the filter to bring back the items, but would be nice if we also could get items by project and/or component and/or version
