Hi,

We need to be able to track which user has tested which bug, something like TestedBy or RegressedBy. My idea was to use a custom field but i can see that you can point it at a table. I was going to write some custom sql to the all the users that belong to certain groups and put that sql in a stored procedure.

My question is, is it possible to use a stored procedure or a view as the datasource for a custom field?

I'm open to suggestions.

Which version of Gemini are you running? In 4.0 you have a user picker custom field so no need to do any stored procedures...

At the moment you can only bind a custom field to a table or view.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the follow-up. The version we're running is v4.1.0 Build 3106.

I looked in the FieldType list and i don't see any user picker in there, is there any setting that i need to enable or something like that.

User picker is the last type in the custom definition page. Can you not see it?

Hi Mark,

I don't see userpicker in the field type. The last option is Date.
