Security Interaction with Visibility

admin
security

When creating an Issue, it is possible to click the Visibility: dropdown and select Everyone OR a Global Group Member OR a Project Group Member. Our issue is in understanding the interaction of this control with the security schemes as well as in understanding the precedence of the security schemes over each other.

Do you have any detailed notes on how to work with Global Groups/Project Groups or possibly some examples?

We want a group (Clients) that can only - a. See their own Project & their own Issue/s & Documents b. Have limited ability to view Attributes - We know how to control this via Items > Screens

It is not possible to set multiple groups for visibility of an item or comment.

You can set each user to view certain projects via the permissions for the project. Simply do not give the "EVERYONE" group any permissions and give the relevant group the "view project" permission. You can further restrict users to only view their own items (create by them or assigned to them).
