Custom Fields in Notifications

One of our developers inquired about the possibility of customizing the data that gets sent withing a notification from Gemini.

Currently, a notification will list Project, Issue Key, Summary, Type, Priority, Severity ,etc... but we have a custom field for our Customer Names that would be very useful to the receivers of these notifications for various reasons.

Is there a way to do this in the current project? If not, can this be evaluated and added as a feature request in a future version of the product. I have a feeling many of your customers might benefit from this also.

What is your email alert engine set to? If you are using the scheduler then you can amend the source code to do so.

We're using MailPlugin -- but if you can send us the instructions for manually updating the code with Scheduler, that would be great.

I'll keep an eye on #1517 so we know when/if the feature gets scheduled for an official release.
