How to assign a user to an issue?

admin
usage

This may seem a silly question but I've gone through the knowledge base and the Gemini documentation but can't find anything on assigning a user to an issue. I'm logged in as a Gemini Administrator and have set permissions to 'Assign Resource' in Security Schemes. I can assign a user to an issue through the 'batch update' function but this isn't really the correct way to update individual issues. How would I update the issue in it's own window? (see attachment)

ANSWER

You can click on "Nobody" to update the assigned to or click on edit (bottom left of the view issue page) to update it.

If you can't do it via click and you don't see the field when doing a "full" update then please check the field visibility scheme used by the Requirement type (Administration -> Issue Type) and make sure that it allows you to view the assigned to field (Administration -> Field Visibility Schemes).

I have tried to do the same thing for enabling editing of Issue 'Type'. However, this is not working. Any ideas?

Tried to do what to issue type? You can't inline edit issue types as that is what's controlling the visibility of the issue. You can only change the type via full edit mode.

Tried to change the issue type from 'enhancement' to 'requirement'. It's a shame this can't be done in-line as it would make updating issues quicker.
