Cannot add item

I have created a new project in Gemini 4.0 and I wanted to insert a new item but when I clicked 'Add' button (I filled all the relevant fields) in the pop-up window I was moved to the top of the window and the window didn't close and the item wasn't created. Has anyone experienced the same problem? This problem occurs both in IE and Chrome.

Edit: this is happening only for the issues of type "Task".

ANSWER

Which fields are shown on the new item form? Do you see the components field? If not, please make sure you set default values to component and estimated time in the Project Administration -> Default Values page.
