Changing From Email Address

We have a running Gemini environment and we want to change the "From Email Address" from for example a@test.com to b@test.com.

I goto "Global Settings > Notifications" and change the email address in the textbox "From Email Address" from a@test.com to b@test.com.

The other settings are:

Email Issue Creator: No Email Issue Resource: No Email Alerts Enabled: Yes
Email Alert Engine: MailPlugin
From Email Address: b@test.com
From Display Name: Indivirtual Gemini Issue Tracker

Now the problem, when I create for example a comment on a issue, I still receive an email alert from a@test.com (the old email address). On the other hand when I send for example an email via "Send Issue Link", I got an email from b@test.com (the new email address).

This is not what I expected, how do I change the from email address on all email's?

What I already did: - Restarted the web app. - Looked in the web.config for the old email address. - Search through the database, didn't find the old email address a@test.com.

Does anyone have an Idea how I can fix this problem?

Changing your email via "my profile" should be it. Can you please confirm that the update worked?

I don't want to change to change the "to" email address, thats works fine.

It's the from address that's different between for example the "Email alert" (for example when you add a comment) and "Email this issue"

I changed the email address in the textbox "From Email Address" from a@test.com to b@test.com. (in "Global Settings > Notifications"), and now the following happens:

The from address from the "Email alert" is from the old from address (in the above example: "a@test.com"). The from address from the "Email this issue" email is from the new from address (in the above example: "b@test.com").

How can I change the from address from the "email alert"? is it caching or are the other settings to change?

Sorry, yes, that should be it.

Are you able to restart the server? The issue is that the mail plugin is cached along with the data.
