EMail not sent after Gemini migration form 2.2 to 3.6

After an upgrade from Gemini version 2.2 to version 3.6 we lost eMail notification.

In the Administration, SMTP configuration, Test is running correctly : eMail sent    OK
In the Administration, Notification,  All to On or Yes.
We try to use MailPlugIn or SchedulerService, but same result no eMail.

What's wrong ?

Are you getting any errors in the error log?
Are you using windows authentication?

Also, after switching to the mail plugin try and restart the app (save the web.config file).

In  sytem log (gemini/admin/ErrorLog.aspx) : empty
Windows authentification, yes

Restart IIS, no change.

The issue might be related to the connection string issue in the other thread.
Does it still not work? Are you using impersonation in the web.config file?

impersonate = true, I presume you are not using it (which is correct).

Does the connection string uses sql authentication?

Now:

eMail runnig with MailPlugin

eMail not runnig with Scheduler,

but using GeminiTest/utility/Windows/SendMail.aspx?m=2&id=24&todo=display&writingid=2&KeepThis=true&TBiframe=true&width=700&height=450 eMail sent

In system log no error.

Ok, so email is working when the mail plugin is selected, correct?

Can you please check the windows application log (Event Viewer) on the PC where the scheduler is installed for errors?
